Parmesan Cheese

This is one of my addictions. I’m hesitant to call it parmesan cheese because I usually refer to it as my cheeto powder. Like when you had cheetos as a kid and licked the mysterious neon orange powder off your fingers. Well, this is like that. I sprinkle it on everything from pasta, to arepas, veggies, tortilla chips, popcorn, pizza, you name it.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup raw cashews
  • 1/3 (or less) raw almonds
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • your choice in quantity of cumin, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, sea salt

Instructions

  • Add the nuts to a food processor and pulse until they’re powder-like. Careful not to overdo because you don’t want it turning into nut butter.
  • Lastly, add the nutritional yeast and seasonings. Pulse just a few times until all is pretty mixed.
